About Renita Boyle
I have been writing and telling stories since I was a young child growing up in America. This passion followed me to the UK in 1985. I am also passionately committed to ministry among children. I gained a BA (Hons) in Theology focusing my thesis on child sexual exploitation. It has been my privilege to be a founding editor of Viva Network’s Children at Risk magazine and co-author of BRF’s Understanding Compassion, which was published in partnership with Compassion UK.
I am married to Eric, minister of Kirkcowan and Wigtown Parish churches. We have one young son, Jude. We also have a lively black Labrador named Bonnie Belle. We live in Wigtown – Scotland’s national book town.
I am an avid all-age storyteller with a vast repertoire of stories for almost any event. To request more information click connect
'Renita's book launch of Parable Fun for Little Ones was amazing! It was an opportunity for us to see exactly how her wonderful resource can be used and, with her storytelling expertise, she brought the whole thing alive. The children were totally absorbed and carried on telling the stories and singing the songs for days. The adults got a masterclass in how to engage and enthrall their children with these beautifully presented parables.
'This thoughtful and easy to use package really should be on the bookshelf of every pre-school teacher and Sunday school teacher in the land.'
